After the deregulation of Australian telecommunications in 1995-97, Universal Telecom directors Damian Kay and Damien Gould, saw huge opportunity. In 2001, Morgan Duncan and Alex Wolfenden joined forces with the pair, to develop a ground-breaking business model that has today, become Telcoinabox.

Telcoinabox was founded in 2002, following one year of development and business planning. The core idea was to package telecommunications to bring it to the people. With sustainable product and service infrastructure, responsive leadership and an innovative business model, the company soon gained franchisee support across Australia.
